After Shopee’s partnership with Traveloka and Grab with Booking Holdings, Gojek has taken similar step with Tiket.com. It started off with Go-Travel menu to “redirect” consumers to Tiket.com mobile page. Currently, it’s only available for hotel reservation.
Tiket.com is one of the leading local OTA which is fully acquired by GDP Venture through Blibli in 2017. Considering Blibli involved as Gojek’s investor, both are having the same investors.
During this year, Gojek has introduced some features or the third party services in its app, including Go-News which curates content from Kumparan, Go-Mall which partners with Blibli and JD.id, and Go-Komik which collaborates with local comics.
Go travel is here as part of Gojek’s desire to be the super app by partnering with various local services.
