Tokobagus Received ‘Indonesia Brand Champion Award 2012’

On Friday, February 24th 2012, Tokobagus, an online marketplace for buying and selling activity (established since 2005) won ‘The Most Popular Brand Online Shop’ on the event ‘Indonesia Champion Award 2012’ held at the Philip Kotler MarkPlus Hall Institute of Marketing Campus, Jakarta.

The ‘Indonesia Champion Award 2012’ event was organized by MarkPlus Insight and Marketeers Magazine. This event gave an award to the industry of technology, communication, informatics, as well as to mobile device and digital based on the results of a survey conducted on 10th to 14th February 2012.

As cited from the DetikInet, TokoBagus is selected as The Most Popular Brand Online Shop in the commercial segment of the commercial website as they have earned the major selection of the respondents (635 respondents). The survey was conducted in six major cities in Indonesia such as Jakarta, Surabaya, Bandung, Semarang, Medan and Makassar.

Arnold Sebastian Egg (Co-Founder of TokoBagus) explained that he was quite shocked by this as the competition in the online world today is pretty tight. This award is a proof of the people’s trust to Tokobagus.com. From the press release received by DailySocial, Arnold said, “This award is a proof of the people’s high trust to Tokobagus.com”.

“We realize this is a big responsibility, so we will continue to enhance our site services,” said Remco Lupker (Co-Founder of TokoBagus) in the press release we received.

DailySocial once wrote a report published by Effective Measure about 20 most popular sites in Indonesia. In the report issued by the Effective Measure, TokoBagus ranked at the number 15 of most popular sites in Indonesia. As quoted from DetikInet, TokoBagus has more than 2 million active members and millions of page views every day. There are various categories of advertising on the site from products to services and every day TokoBagus gets an update listing for more than 50,000 new listings.
