It is our vision to advance the technology industry in Indonesia through entrepreneurship and it will always be the operational foundation of DailySocial team.
Other than media channel, DailySocial team also has several events which bring technology as the theme and one of them is Sparxup Awards. We started Sparxup with the dream to bring startups from Indonesia which previously very few and tends to be unexposed. Through Sparxup, we would also like to share many knowledge and networks by presenting world class speakers to share and probably learning about startup ecosystem in Indonesia.
We are happy with what we do, and happy that many fellow startups can enjoy the benefit of Sparxup. Both in the form of approach from the investor, partner, median and even new user growth gained after participating in Sparxup Awards. Whatever that is, our commitment remain the same to give the best for Indonesian startup.
Departing from the same vision and dream, this year, we are back with Sparxup. But of course, we keep on improving ourselves and learn from two year of experience. Sparxup will present a fresher, more powerful, more focused and surely brings new concept consistent with our vision and dreams. With the support of fellow startups, media partners and of course the sponsors, we will give the best for this year’s Sparxup.
We’re currently working hard on preparing everything for Sparxup which will reach its culminating event in the first week of October 2012. And just like last year, we will hold a prestigious startup competition and conference with international class speakers. But this year, we will also hold hackathon event for developers looking for challenge in programming field. Of course, it won’t be just another hackathon.
That is all we can say for now, but there are other surprises we have in store for this year’s Sparxup. It’s best for fellow startups to start preparing to launch their startups for Sparxup 2012 stage. Until then, we will do our best to prepare.
