Oracle perceives the cloud market in Asia Pacific is something highly tempting. Hence, to increase its product sales in the region, Oracle announced its plan to recruit a mass of marketers. Not 50, not 100, but 1000 people are going to be hired.
The acceleration of cloud business in Asia Pacific is also supported by the growing economic state in the region as well as the broadband and mobile infrastructure that has been more solid than ever. With all their experiences in cloud and data center, Oracle tries broadening their business in Asia Pacific countries.
“Strong economic growth and unlimited possibilities possessed by the cloud technology have created new opportunities in Asia Pacific. Oracle is the only vendor that may serve SaaS (Software as Service), Paas (Platform as Services), and IaaS (Infrastructure as Service) as a whole to consumers which, uniquely, has placed us as a Cloud Enterprise,” Oracle’s President for Europe, Middle East, the U.S, and Asia Pacific Loic Le Guisquet in his press release.
All this time, Oracle is known as an IT solution for corporate provider. With a number of products namely Oracle Business Intelligence Cloud Service, Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence, and Oracle Big Data Cloud Service, Oracle has always attempted to be one of those who dominate cloud business in Asia Pacific. Le Guisquet further explained that with 1000 new marketers, Oracle looks to build a solid marketing team.
“We recruit candidates from every part of Asia Pacific to build a world-class marketing team that will help Oracle users enjoying cloud. The opportunity that cloud technology creates is really huge, it’s the right time to join Oracle,” Le Guisquet said.
The recruitment plan is specifically done to increase the sales in a number of countries in Asia Pacific, like Australia, China, India, and ASEAN countries.
