After officially serving Jakarta and drawing positive responses, Go-Jek’s food delivery service Go-Food entered Bandung. In the publication, the service will be supported by 2000 Go-Jek drivers in the city. Not only does it have massive number of units, the service also offers wide variation of food from aroud 500 restaurants in Bandung.
The crowded streets and daily businesses make such service wins a place in people’s heart. The ordering process is also quite simple, users can find their favorite meals based on the available categories and nearest restaurants. In Jakarta, the service draws plaudits, not only because it sets zero cost during the trial period, but also because it serves orders for meals from practically all food vendors, from fancy restaurants to street vendors, which other delivery services tend to avoid.
Around two months ago, Go-Jek officially entered Bandung. At that time, only 500 units were ready to serve. Being multiplied until four times bigger in number, the service indeed enjoys all the praise it can get.
The traffic issue in big cities is a loss for people, but opens a huge opportunity for Go-Food and other food delivery services. So far, Go-Jek has been operating in Jakarta, Bandung, and Bali. It’s not impossible to see the service expanding to other cities in the future.
