Nathan Kontny, who is currently working on a writing software called Draft has been noticing common mistakes that web designers make when they build their websites. On his blog post over at Medium, he lists three of those mistakes explaining each and how to overcome them.
In short, he finds that one, web designers don’t say outright on their websites what they do, leading visitors to the wrong conclusion about those sites. Two, designers tend to leave out testimonials. According to Kontny, testimonials can help turn visitors into customers. The third one is hiding contact links or making them not obvious.
