The Unsecured loans service organizer, Julo, is officially expanding to Ambon, Gorontalo, and Tarakan. Those cities are part of Julo’s plan to penetrate all over Indonesia.
“We start from big cities, it’s where the largest internet penetration, however, Julo will extend throughout Indonesia,” Julo’s Head of Product, Kenneth Kou said.
Currently, Julo is now accessible in some cities in Java, including Jabodetabek, Bandung, Surabaya, Malang, and Yogyakarta. In addition, it also available in Medan, Deli Serang, Riau Islands, East Borneo, Manado, Bali, Gorontalo, Tarakan, and Ambon.
Julo representative said on this expansion, aside to facilitate more borrowers, it also expected to support OJK (Financial Service Authority) target for financial inclusion, particularly outside Java.
Under PT Julo Teknologi Indonesia, Julo has listed in OJK’s official fintech provider. They’re also supported by East Ventures, Skystar Capital, Convergence Ventures, and some angel investors.
Julo is a service that offers loan without collateral (KTA) starts from Rp500,000 to Rp5,000,000 with 3-4% interest.
As an online KTA service, Julo offers some other loan products, such as Julo Cicil as a loan product with limit ranging from Rp2,000,000 up to Rp8,000,000 with due date around 3 to 6 months, and 4% interest per month. There’s also Julo Mini, an unsecured loan product up to Rp1,000,000 and 10% interest per month.
