Digital Artha Media (DAM) will be launching three new fintech products to realize its ambition as fintech enabler company in first quarter of 2018. Those products are indiepay (e-wallet), indieprint (cloud printing), dan wagon (e-commerce O2O).
Indiepay is an e-wallet receiving payment with funding source from credit and debit cards, by targeting urbans and millenials. Indieprint is a cloud printing service to be used among students, currently being tested in Universitas Mataram.
Meanwhile, Wagon (Warung Goes Online) is an O2O e-commerce app for merchants who have interest in becoming independent digital entrepreneur, selling PPOB services. So far, Wagon is already used by approximately 2 thousand shops spreading in several areas of Java and Sumatra.
“Since the establishment, DAM focused on developing Mandiri e-cash product. In the fifth year, we want to build fintech ecosystem for all fintech to use,” Fanny Verona, DAM’s Managing Director, explained on Thursday (12/21).
As Bank Mandiri Group subsidiary, DAM is not only focused on developing products, but also opened its technology to be used by other fintech startups.
An example of its realization can be seen as the partnership between Bank Mandiri and Line through Line e-cash. Currently, Line e-cash already has 4 million users. For Verona, there will be another partnership announcement in the future between corporation and Mandiri e-cash, the process is still kept secret.
Ready to apply QR Code and KYC Digital
For Mandiri e-cash feature, DAM is preparing a new technology such as payment via QR code and KYC digital for upgrading to full service. Verona said these features will be available in early 2018.
In total, Mandiri e-cash already has 10 million users. Most transactions are used for top-up balance, online shopping and PLN tokens.
“the nearest event is to add two new features. First, payment via QR code, then video call for KYC digital for users in need for upgrading to full service,” ended Verona.
