Elevenia expands its business to plane ticket reservation by introducing Air Ticket. This new service enables customers to find plane tickets, both for domestic and international flights, right on the site, thanks to the partnership with Tiket.com. Added to the newly launched service, Elevenia is also currently an official online ticketing vendor at Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) 2015.
This maneuver might crown Elevenia as the first online marketplace to do so. While regular marketplaces sell travel coupons, Elevenia cut the process and be a direct partner to Tiket.com, which provides referral program that is open for third party to join in. Air Ticket is one of the implementation, although it’s designed for B2B business model. The service can be accessed both via Elevenia’s website and mobile app.
According to the information that appears on the FAQ page, Elevenia will manage the ticket reservation process and send the purchased e-ticket to the customers. Meanwhile, Tiket.com is still responsible for any changes, cancellation, and refund made by customers.
Elevenia’s CEO James Lee told DailySocial, “Elevenia’s strategy is to provide more services for consumers. Not only in term of plane tickets, but also other services like tour, concert ticket, and many others.”
About its partnership with Tiket.com, Lee responded, “Tiket.com is the foremost ticket provider in Indonesia. The openness, expectation and concept grow hand in hand and it’s an interesting part for us.”
When being asked about Elevenia’s target, Lee diplomatically answered, “It’s only a trial service now. We’ll learn consumers’ responses before taking the next step.”
GIIAS 2015’s official online ticketing vendor
While building the Air Ticket, Elevenia also takes part in GIIAS 2015 to facilitate visitors who want to attend the event.
“In GIIAS 2015, Elevenia takes part as the official online ticketing to facilitate those who want to attend the biggest auto show in Indonesia. Moreover, we also want to have more significant partnership with our partners, ATPM fellows and automotive communities in Indonesia,” Elevenia’s Senior Manager Business Development & Public Relations Anggita Vela Lydia stated in the press release.
