HUB Indonesia (HUBid) is now a step closer to fully declare itself as an online bridge for local startups to reach their glory. After successfully holding a series of workshops in four main cities in Java during last September and early October, the platform looks to continue the event in Makassar right on the last day of this month.
HUBid was initiated by a number of Indonesian startup scene’s stakeholders. It aims to establish much better Indonesian digital startup landscape. One of its attempts to reach such goal is by facilitating the players of the industry with a series of workshops and roadshows. The platform, which is backed up by the Ministry of Communication and Information (MCI), looks to link startups to investors in order to find a win-win solution for both parties.
Makassar becomes the fifth location after Bandung, Yogyakarta, Malang, and Denpasar. The city has so much to offer to the development of local startups. The workshop will feature a sharing session as well as presentation about the condition and growth of startup industry in Indonesia, common mistakes that usually happen in the industry, an analysis on the collapse of most of local startups, and HUBid’s role in shaping Indonesia’s startup ecosystem.
Those points are going to be presented by Indonesia’s high profiles, including Doku’s Founder Budi Syahbudin, DailySocial’s Founder and CEO Rama Mamuaya, Infinys System’s CEO Dondy Bappediyanto, and Tees.co.id’s CTO Bima Satria Tama.
HUBid actively lists down startups and investors and invites them to join the event. Every single participant is guaranteed an opportunity to broaden his knowledge, network, and opportunites of accelerating his products in order to meet his own desired target.
The workshop is going to be held at The Boss Cafe which is located at Alauddin Palaza, Sultan Alaudin street, on Friday, October 31, 2014. For further information, you may check here.
