Batista Harahap, the former Urbanesia’s Chief Innovation Officer and Icehouse Corp’s Lead Engineer, becomes one of the first recruit of Ardent Labs Indonesia. Tista, that’s what he’s usually called, will be the company’s VP of Research and Development, one of strategic positions at this IT think thank.
On his personal blog, Tista confirmed that it was his passion towards the development of human resources that led him to the decision of joining Ardent Labs Indonesia. “By joining Ardent Labs, I commit to empower others based on everything I’ve learned,” Tista stated.
He sincerely hopes that he gets to find new and fresh CEOs, CTOs, or CXOs during his time with Ardent Labs.
Ardent Labs is a “laboratory” of products which is established by Thailand-based Ardent Capital. One of its flagships is the e-commerce enabler aCommerce which has set a remarkable growth in Southeast Asia.
It seems that Ardent Capital knows best what to do with the $12,5 million funding from a number of investors led by Sinarmas they have just sealed, as the company turned some of it to present its second Ardent Labs to intensively recruit new talents and new product development concepts. In fact, the company is now in the middle of recruiting talents, and it expects to get 20 of them by the end of this year. Those 20 include three most highlighted positions: software engineering, product expert, and marketing expert.
Peter Goldsworthy, former Burufly’s Head before the company merged with Valadoo, is appointed as the head of the Ardent Labs Indonesia.
We can’t wait to see what Tista and Ardent Labs can do during their time developing attractive products and growing human resources here in Indonesia.
