Echelon Satellite from Indonesia to Japan have been completed and now it’s time for the main event to start. Echelon 2013, an Asia’s prominent technology event, will be kicking off on June 4-5 at Singapore Expo Max Atria, Singapore. There will be two big things expected to be experienced by all attendees, technology conference and startup pitches. One of keynote speaker is Dave McClure, founding partner of 500 Startups from Silicon Valley.
Among the startup pitches participant will be Indonesia’s TanyaDok that won Echelon Indonesia Satellite on April. TanyaDok will be competing with several other startups from countries in Asia Pacific in front of the panels that consist of McClure, Edgar Hardless (CEO Innov8), John Scull (Managing Director Southern Cross Venture Partners) and Yasuhiko Yurimoto (President and CEO Global Brain). McClure’s 500 Startups is an early stage startup incubators that already helped accelerating some startups like TaskRabbits, 9gag, Twilio and ViKi.
The conference itself will be discussing trends in digital, mobile, the internet and where Asia’s tech industry is headed. The topic will include investing, telecommunication issue, mobile trend, gaming, big data and Asian consumer trend.
