Lately, Traveloka is actively launched all-new variant services following Lebaran moment and the long holiday. The latest service is car rental. Some services that were previously introduced are bus ticketing, Traveloka Eats, and PayLater lending service.
Christian Suwarna, Senior Vice President of Business Development Traveloka explained, the car rental service completes the effort to meet all demand integrated with one app. Car rental becomes as easy as booking a flight or train tickets.
“After introducing Bus & Travel ticketing service, Traveloka is now fulfilling user’s transportation demand through innovation and technology. Car Rental presents as Traveloka’s commitment in providing the best travel experience for all users,” Suwarna said in the official release to DailySocial, Fri (5/25).
The car rental partners with more than 100 rental providers, accommodating standardized car rental with fare includes a car and a driver for 12 hours. Also, options for all-inclusive additional package includes fuel, parking, toll, and driver’s meal or stay during traveling outside of town. It is available in 11 cities, including Jakarta, Bali, Medan, Yogyakarta, Makassar, Palembang, Malang, Balikpapan, Surabaya, Semarang, and Bandung.
In terms of car rental, customers can book 12 hours before the pick-up time. Next, the customer needs to fill in some booking details of the city, rental date, duration, and pick-up time. Then the customer can choose the car types and providers.
After making the payment, Traveloka will verify and send the booking voucher to customer’s email.
This service is still in beta version and available only for Android. Not all the customers can use the latest service due to the gradual distribution. It will be available for iOS soon. Prior to Traveloka, Tiket.com has provided similar service.
