TrackPense Added Features to Maintain Competition

Don’t be surprised if for the last few days DailySocial covers financial record websites more than others. Because it turns out that they’ve been adding more and more features in order to compete with each other, you can check out our articles on Amplop.in and Ngaturduit.

TrackPense refuses to stay off the battle, and starting last week end TrackPense added some features to increase users’ comfort. The merrier the competition is the better users’ position becomes, because they get to choose which features and options are better. So, let’s talk about it a little.

According to their blog, TrackPense change its appearance from front page to dashboard and they are all easy on the eyes for me. By eliminating bar graphic on dashboard, they give more space to latest transaction records and category-based transactions. Moreover, you can now upload pictures as “purchase proof”.

You can upload your purchased items like food and the payment receipts, photos can be uploaded via PC or cell phone. One of TrackPense’s advantages if it has become an application is you can take pictures directly, so you don’t have to browse the web or mobile web.

The next one and which I think is very important is its ability to export monthly transaction report in PDF or XLS (MS Excel). This is very important as back up you can save in your computer or cell phone, so you don’t have to open or look for it again on the web whenever you want to see transactions in the past months.

There are two experimental features in this renewal. The first one is adding transaction through email, the second one is sending transaction through Direct Message (DM) in Twitter. Because both of them are experimental features, we are yet to expect them to work perfectly. If you have any complaint or suggestion, it will be a valuable input for the developers.

I have previously mentioned that English is the main language in this website and become its own attraction so that it can be used globally, but developers are also trying to reach local market. Other than Bahasa Indonesia choice you can use very soon, they also added Sundanese and Javanese Languages. You can contact the developers directly if you want to participate.

Last but not least, I am sure if you have tried TrackPense you might’ve found out what other applications have that TrackPense don’t, and the other way around. As for me, I think it is important to note down your monthly expenses, but it will be more useful if websites like TrackPense can step further, meaning they can do something more on budgeting and analyzing. Not now maybe, but I am hoping it’s in their road map.
