They can also provide data analytics in “premium merchants” and submit information to costumers about products that haven’t yet purchased (but listed as their favourite products). They are also providing QR code development for the products with no barcodes yet.

It’s quite interesting to see the presence of startup and the new services or those who are established and develop new products/services. For EV Alpha, I see that service provided is consistent with the East Ventures preferences and some have a similar service with startup that has been previously funded by the EV, such as directory or search.

One thing (though not all) that keeps me interested is some services have quite nice site design, for example: Promoote and Dwarapala. There are also startup that ‘played’ on video segment and games, two area that I think will be becoming a trend and growing in 2012.

As a conclusion, competition and pitch event will be one of catharsis for the growth of a new startup. However the more important is to see how this growth can result the startup to survive, thrive and be great.

Are there any investors who are interested in a variety of services that did pitch in 2012 JVN? Let’s see their development in the near future.
