Telunjuk as one of information service providers on computer, cell phone, tablet and plane ticket prices is trying to accommodate every circle. Realizing that the availability of data service in Indonesia is pretty restricted and not everyone has access to the internet, Telunjuk accommodates price inquiry through SMS. Of course, the actual fact shows that SMS is still text based communication that largely used, even though the use is steadily decreasing.
Accessing information through SMS completes the channels provided by Telunjuk, after the availability of website, mobile web and Twitter on @telunjukdotcom. Telunjuk’s user can send an SMS to 3789 – from all carrier. Fee charged is IDR1,000/SMS. The SMS format can be seen directly on Telunjuk blog page on gadget and plane. For example:
- “Telunjuk laptop <brand> <type>”, for laptop search
- “Telunjuk tiket <departure city> <arrival city> <departure date>”, for plane ticket search
