Sri Widowati is Appointed as Chief Digital Transformation at Unilever Indonesia

Today (4/5) Unilever Indonesia announces Sri Widowati as the Chief Digital Transformation and Growth Officer. Previously, Wido is known as Facebook Indonesia’s Country Director. This is quite a new position at Unilever, after 86 years of operation.

Unilever Indonesia’s President Director, Hemant Bakshi said in his speech that digital transformation is one of the main objective for Unilever to keep the business on top of the market in the future. He also said that one of the actual trends in the last few years is the consumer’s behavior and lifestyle shifting to modernization.

Chief Digital Transformation and Growth Officer will have strategic role in creating transformative, disruptive and on target strategy for any consumer’s segment. Wido is to focus in managing digital hub, consumer and market intelligence.

“Wido’s expertise for more than 20 years in marketing industry, including her big role in the digital industry in the last few years should bring more innovation for Unilever Indonesia. I am optimistic that Wido is the perfect portrait to lead our digital transformation,” he added.
