The partnership was done through the signing of an agreement which took place on June 29, 2018 in Jakarta, attended by Marlo Budiman, CEO of First Media, and Hidebumi Kitahara, VP Global Business Strategy Division Softbank Corp.
On the occasion, Kitahara said the global mobile industry is entering the 5G era, where IoT will be the main focus of innovation.
