Today the iOS mobile reader Scoop announces 300k magazine circulationdownloads from their iPad app and announce the latest version of Scoop that supports iPhone and iPod devices.
Scoop is growing fast, way faster than we can imagine by adding more and more publishers to their mobile reader platform. In total they have more than 160 publishers and over 800 magazine editions inside their app in only 9 months since they first launched November last year. Scoop is gathering not only print media as their publisher but also online media and blogs to provide them with content.
And today Apps Foundry officially launches Scoop for iPhone and iPod devices to support the growth from their previously popular iPad app. In this improved version of the app, Scoop now enables users to purchase single copy of magazine/book and read across iOS devices and adds new “book” category. This version is compatible with iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPod touch (3rd generation), iPod touch (4th generation) and iPad.
The app is available for free download down at Apple’s App Store and users can buy magazines directly from the app using their Apple ID. Several popular magazines downloaded from Scoop such as Tempo magazine, Cosmopolitan, Autocar and Popular magazine.
