Rumah.com Relaunched with New Design and Management

Earlier this year we reported that Rumah.com was acquired by AllProperty Media which is based in Singapore. On October 26 at Hotel Sultan in Jakarta, Rumah.com relaunched its site with a new design and a brand new management. With its new logo, Rumah.com unveiled the tagline “Properti Terdepan di Indonesia” (The Leading Property in Indonesia) for its site. The new Rumah.com Managing Director is Harlow Russel who previously was the VP at AllProperty Media. There was also AllProperty Media CEO, Steve Melhuish at the relaunch.

On its press release, the design changes of Rumah.com are set to make it easier for users to navigate and discover their desired properties. Of course it is important since sometimes users feel lost with the navigation of property sites which bloated and full of pictures. I see also that Rumah.com has cooperated with housing credit finance of CIMB Niaga, so the price of every property can be accumulated with this bank service of housing credit finance.

AllProperty Media as the owner of Rumah.com still believe that the property business prospect (on property site) in Indonesia is still promising. Steve Malhuish stated that “The response received by Rumah.com from real estate developers in Indonesia, agents, and advertisers is more than we expected. We believe that this year will be an interesting year for PropertyGuru and for property sector in Indonesia.”

Steve also underlined that, “Indonesia with 240 million population and 61 million housing is a potential market for Rumah.com. According to Biro Pusat Statistik (Center of Statistics Bureau), Indonesia currently needs 13 million more housing units. It is an incredible number for the property industry and we are ready to help developers, housing agents, and property agency for marketing their product/service in faster and easier way, also wider coverage through Rumah.com”.

Recently, Rumah.com which was established in 2007, has more than 120 thousand properties to sell and rent, with 11 thousand registered users. Besides Rumah.com in Indonesia, AllProperty Media through PropertyGuru link has online property sites in Singapore, Malaysia, and Thailand.
