Qareer Group Asia Announces 153 Billion Rupiah Funding from Emtek Group

Qareer Group Asia officially announced a funding by Emtek Group through its investment arm, KMK Online. Existing investors are involved.

As previously announced, based on Emtek Group financial report for Q3 2018, there is funding for Qareer Group Asia. Today, Qareer Group Asia officially announced it through a release.

Qareer Group Asia, focused on recruitment and human resources system development, has received funding from Emtek Group through its technology holding company KMK Online. The whole funding round is $10,5 million (around 153 billion rupiah). The existing investors, Kejora Ventures and Softbank, are involved in this round.

According to Emtek’s financial report, the funding has been converted as 310,472 shares or 33.5% of the total ownership.

Veronika Linardi, Qareer Group Asia’s Founder & CEO, said this funding is the beginning of a long-term partnership with Emtek Group.

Adi Sariaatmadja, KMK Online’s Managing Director in his statement said that the company believes Qareer Group Asia will make a positive impact on the business and employment industry in Indonesia and Malaysia.

Qerja has previously received Series A funding from SB ISAT Fund in 2015 and seed funding from Kejora Ventures (formerly called Mountain SEA Ventures).
