A recent article from Apple Insider pointed out that based on the the iTunes, Apple is beginning to expand to support Indonesian users. One AppleInsider reader found out that the newly released iTunes features a number of new countries under the Parental Preferences pane. These new countries are Indonesia, Thailand, Singapore, Taiwan, Malaysia and South Korea.

DailySocial did got a tip about Apple doing something in Indonesia a few weeks ago, but we didn’t come up with anything until this news broke. Overall, This is good news since Indonesia’s iTunes user is growing quite rapidly although we’re probably still at a low number. And according to Apple Insider, this can be a sign that Apple is gearing to do some content licensing business in these countries.

We will keep an eye on this one and give update as soon as we get more info. Until then : Welcome, Apple. It’s about time.
