There are some IT communities emerge in many cities, such as Bancakan 2.0 (Yogyakarta), FOWAB (Bandung), StartupLokal (Jakarta), SuWec (Surabaya), SuBali (Bali), and Stasion (Malang) and now there is another community emerges in Palembang. It’s MusTech, which stands for Musi Technology. Musi is the name of the famous river and the icon of this city.
The initiators of this community are Andika Wijaya and Sekar Ayu Adjilianty. They both are internet business enthusiasts. As explained in MusTech official site, the objective of this community is to gather internet and digital technology enthusiasts, to build internet business, and to gather startup initiators, investors, and media to collaborate. Therefore, there will emerge technoprenuers and netpreneurs from Palembang.
MusTech was just established on August 22nd, 2011. Similar to Stasion, Mustech has three programs; those are Internal Meetup, Public Meetup Workshop and Seminar. For you, internet and startup enthusiasts and living in Palembang, you are suggested to join this community. It will help to emerge new startups from Palembang.
The emerging of Mustech is good news. Although it hasn’t held event to gather the internet and startup enthusiasts, the spirit and passion from the initiators is moving this community forward and developing startups in Palembang. In the logo, there is beta explanation, which informs that it is still improving. DailySocial, for sure, will support the development of startup ecosystem in Indonesia, especially in Palembang.
