A logistics startup, Paket Delivery (Pakde) announced it has obtained seed funding from TNKapital worth of $400,000 (around 6 billion rupiah) this October. Previously, in July 2018, TNKapital became an angel investor for the same company.
TNKapital is a venture capital founded at the end of 2017. It’s focused on making a financial investment, mentorship, networking, publication, and resource allocation. TNKapital’s targets are startups in logistics, application, and system for HR management, administration, convection products, and supply chain.
Founded in 2016, Pakde claims to have significant growth. The peak was marked with the increase of warehouse transaction in May 2018 up to 2015% following the increase of online shopping transaction during Ramadhan. The similar achievement was made in September 2018 through the aggressive client acquisition and warehouse extension in Bandung.
Pakde provides operational service includes inbound, such as stock report and stock management. It also provides warehousing in private owned warehouse and outbound service such as packaging and delivery from client to partners.
“Since January 2018, Pakde has been recorded up to 194% transaction, and it was a positive response for all our partners,” Nicko Batubara, Pakde’s CEO, said.
Currently, Pakde has approximately 15 partners using its service. Aside from SMEs players, the online warehouse solution has been considered by corporates, particularly in health and electronic industries.
The company is said to make an expansion to six cities in Indonesia and two in Southeast Asia. The expansion plan is its main focus for the next funding round.
“Pakde targets to grow 5 times by December 2018 from July 2018,” he said.
