Kioson adds a variety of OTA products, such as flight, train tickets, and hotel booking to increase income for agents. The product is a collaboration result of the company with one of Indonesia’s OTA players.

Jasin Halim, Kioson‘s President Director said, the product was developed because it’s relevant to the needs of the kiosk and its customers. It also supports the company’s ambition to become the public’s one-stop digital financial solution.

“Our business development will likely be directed to improve technological features in order to provide the best services for consumers. In the future, we want Kioson to not only seen as a balance sales company in kiosks but also a one-stop digital financial solution for the community,” he added.

The products in Kioson app are a combination of PT Narindo’s subsidiaries. As further detailed, Narindo’s products consist of balance sales and PPOB (online bank payment points) as payment options for PLN, TELKOM, and PDAM bills, also motorcycle installments, etc.

Kioson also offers digital commodities (balance and PPOB), e-commerce (cellphones and accessories), and fintech (payment and microlending). Currently, Kioson serves the top up for e-money and Go-Pay balance, both for Go-Jek users and for driver partners.

Kioson Performance

In the second quarter this year, Kioson has recorded IDR 1.276 trillion net sales. The number has increased far higher if compared to last year’s same period that reaches IDR 47.7 billion. The sale is supported by the digital products performance for IDR 1.27 trillion and e-commerce products for IDR 5.38 billion.

Although the sales increased, cost of goods sold is followed by IDR 1.254 trillion from last year’s IDR 45.75 billion. As Halim said, the increase reflects how great Kioson’s transaction to various partners such as providers for balance top-up, electricity token, PDAM, BPJS, Tokopedia, Samsung Electronic Indonesia, and others.

“It’s a reasonable condition due to Kioson’s effort to complete services and products.”

He predicted, e-commerce payment products and e-money top up will dominate users in the near future.

By June 2018, the number of kiosks registered to Kioson has reached 36,250, serving more than 4 million users in second-tier cities all over Indonesia.
