Another good news for Zynga’s games fans today! Indomog and Zynga released Zynga Game Cards which will provide an easy way to local users to pay for virtual goods within their favorite Zynga games, such as CityVille, FarmVille, Mafia Wars and Poker.
From the official release we received, Zynga Game Cards will be available at over 1.500 cafes and retail outlet in Indonesia. The Zynga Game Cards will be available at cybercafes all over Indonesia, which are Indomogs authorized distributors and outlets such as Seven Eleven, Erafone, Bengawan Solo Cafe and other known outlets.
Indomog is an online payment solution company providing payment solution service such as Bank Transfer, Internet Banking, Mobile Banking, ATM, Kartu Kredit, and Indomog Authorized Distibutor Cybercafe. Collaboration between Zynga and Indomog could also be seen since early November last year.
Indomog will provide game cards with value of Rp. 20.000, Rp. 50.000 and Rp 100.000. As explained in the official release, these varieties of card value are given as optional facility for users which will help them purchase virtual goods in Zynga games.
This is a big opportunity for Indomog, other than popularity from Indonesia’s Zynga game users, CityVille, one of the most popular games from Zynga, recently launched their Indonesian language version which facilitates (language wise) Indonesian users, especially for those Zynga game’s hardcore fans who still have difficulties in English.
Zynga Game Cards can also become one of good strategies to get non-credit card market share, considering credit card usage for online payment, especially for virtual goods is not really popular among teenagers and college students, which are one of Zynga games’ largest market share.
Vincent Iswaratioso, Director of Indomog also added that, facility for purchasing virtual goods will also be easy for adult users who don’t have much time for Zynga games activities such as caring for their online farm (FarmVille), but also don’t mind to spend some money so that they won’t get left behind by their fellow players.
