iMulai, a national business innovation competition sponsored by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and Microsoft Indonesia, has been reopened. Through a news release, USAID and Microsoft Indonesia invite new companies and innovators in Indonesia to attend the competition in its fourth year of implementation.
The competition is in the form of business innovation competition. Participants may be individuals or companies who have an information and communication technology based idea or prototype or business innovation that commercially run. Types of innovation can be a business application that runs n desktop, web and mobile.
iMulai 4.0 will select 10 winners who will receive US$300,000. In addition to cash, winners will also receive hardware to support their businesses and special training to develop their business innovations. Another benefit that is no less important is that the winners will also get the opportunity to present their innovations in front of local and global investors; this is a good chance for potential investment.
Among winners of last year’s iMulai 3.0 are Rockto, Prohukum, Ngatur Duit, Football Saga project and NyanyiYuk from Agate Studio.
After the launch event at @america, Pacific Place, Jakarta on March 8, iMulai will hold a workshop in four cities, namely Makassar, Samarinda, Palembang and Surabaya.
