Metaverse holds many exciting promises for the NFT community, and it’s no surprise if many deep in the ecosystem are bullish on the technology’s potential. One example is the Metaverse Exhibition, a special event that is currently taking place courtesy of IDNFT, one of the biggest NFT communities in Indonesia.
Metaverse Exhibition is part of IDNFT Academy, an NFT educational program that has so far collected over 2,500 entrants. The program is designed to facilitate Indonesian creators who want to learn about NFT and Web3 right from the fundamentals, as well as the NFT creation process itself, with insights from many experts.
IDNFT Academy provides courses for five art disciplines: 2D visual, 3D, photography, animation or motion, and music. The program usually lasts around three months, with activities ranging from Kickoff Session, NFT Class, Coaching Session, Mint Fund & Workshop, to the aforesaid Metaverse Exhibition, and more than 50 speakers and coaches in the field.
The Metaverse Exhibition practically serves as a showcase for IDNFT Academy entrants that have completed the NFT Class, Coaching, and Minting processes. A total of 150 works of art are currently being presented in three separate galleries: the Holaplex, Dartroom, and TokoMall.
In addition to that, the Metaverse Exhibition is also bringing over 20 commentators and renowned collectors in the NFT space, such as Sendy Stephen Widjaja, co-owner of Art Moments Jakarta; celebrity chef Arnold Poernomo; esteemed illustrator Kathrin Honesta; and Dennis Adhiswara, actor and prominent NFT collector.
The Metaverse Exhibition is nearing its end, with the last main event scheduled to take place on June 25. Starting from 07:30 p.m. Western Indonesia Time (WIB) on IDNFT’s official YouTube channel, there will be special performances from musicians like Robi Navicula and Endah N Rhesa, as well as dance performances from Indo Krump. The event will also provide giveaways, with prizes ranging from merchandise, Ledger’s hardware crypto wallet, to Acer Swift X laptop.
