idblogNetwork to Launch Pay-Per-Sale Program

January 24, 2012

idblogNetwork, a local ad program aimed at bloggers, will launch a new feature to advertise in the near future. It’s pay-per-sale or pay-per-lead basis. Advertisers will only pay based on the number of items sold with a referral program that is owned by idBlogNetwork. Programs like this remind us of the Amazon affiliate widget that was popular among bloggers as one of the monetization efforts.

To be able to become an advertiser on this program, advertisers must first fill out a product category that has been arranged by categories. There are 48 categories to choose. To achieve target market, advertisers must choose the corresponding category. Of course this would be of interest for online seller.  The “reseller” principle isn’t something new for them. We don’t know yet the rate given by idBlogNetwork, but based on previous experience the commission given to the publisher has been pretty competitive.

idBlogNetwork currently has more than 8000 bloggers as members. As addition to pay-per-sale that will be presented, ads usually appear on the idBlogNetwork network properties using pay-per-click or pay-per-action. In last September, idBlogNetwork announced funding from East Ventures for their business development.

Monetization programs that utilize bloggers as media in Indonesia aren’t well known yet. Apart from IdblogNetwork, another similar program that also aggressively seeks for publisher is SITTI.
