Google Finally Appoints Country Head for Indonesia

After been heavily poaching some top execs from top companies, we recently learned that Google Indonesia finally appoints a Country Head and it’s not Erik Meijer (as opposed to the rumors floating around). Google Indonesia has appointed Rudy Ramawy as Country Head to lead operations in the country, we learned based on the changes on Ramawy’s LinkedIn profile.

Prior to joining Google Indonesia, Ramawy was one of the Directors of media channel RCTI owned by MNC Group and as far as we know, he never holds a position working with digital / internet products but I’m certain Google knows better than me.

Before Ramawy, Google has appointed Krishna Zulkarnain as Country Marketing Manager and Hengky Prihatna as Country Consultant. Although it’s been over a year since Google is trying to push its presence in Indonesia, it seems like they’re finally getting the pieces together.

Almost certain, we’ll hear from them soon.
