[Event] Microsoft holds Developer Conference 2012

Welcoming Windows 8, Microsoft intends to introduce the new product to developers in Indonesia. Microsoft will hold Microsoft Developer Conference. In this Microsoft Developer Conference, developers in Indonesia will learn about the ins and outs of Metro application programming in Windows 8.

Microsoft Developer Conference in Indonesia will be held on May 1 and May 2, 2012 at the Mawar Room, Balai Kartini. The event on May 1 will take form as a seminar and the next day’s event will be a workshop. The keynote speaker in this event is Neil Hutson, Senior Director of Microsoft Corp.

Neil Hutson is a Senior Director of Platform Evangelism of Microsoft Corp. Neil’s task is to help developers all over the world, building application for Windows 8, Windows Phone and Windows Azure. Neil will come to Indonesia and provide insights to the developers about the opportunities arise with the presence of Windows 8.

Windows 8 is a new operating system being developed by Microsoft that will be launched in the fourth quarter of this year. On February 29, Microsoft has launched Windows 8 Consumer Preview. From the look of the desktop and the Metro application it’s carrying, Windows 8 is primarily intended for touch screen-based devices such tablet or slate.
