DailySocial’s CEO to Moderate a Session in SMW Jakarta 2015

It’s not a secret that Indonesia plays a significant role in the world’s smartphone vast growth. Smartphones are no longer solely an entertainment media, but also a port for works and lifestyle. That being said, a discussion session themed “SOLOMO: Mobile Application Beyond Entertainment”, which gets moderated by DailySocial’s CEO Rama Mamuaya, is designed to be one of parts of the great Social Media Week Jakarta (SMW).

“SOLOMO” stands for Social-Local-Mobile. It refers to smartphone apps that are enriched with local entries in order to present the geo-location tech, thus resulting on better search engine. Based on this fact, the session would discuss about the smartphone penetration which is utilized using the right apps for a better future. This is in line with the theme of this year’s SMW, which is “Upwardly Mobile: The Rise of The Connected Class”.

The discussion will feature high-profiles like Qraved’s Co-Founder Steven Kim, GrabTaxi’s CEO Anthony Tan, Path Indonesia’s Country Manager William Tunggaldjaja, and DailySocial’s CEO Rama Mamuaya as the moderator.

It’s occupying to see how those big players localize their services to fit the hugely potential Indonesian market. One crucial point to be discussed is how they perceive the future of Indonesia and participate in it.
