Binerica NFT is a Music NFT Project Highlighting Collaboration Between Artists in Indonesia

For his debut music album, Binerica decides to provide a unique experience through the use of NFTs, as well as his collaboration with several artists

As most of us have already known by now, NFTs aren't just cute GIFs and JPEGs of wacky characters, but they can also represent immutable ownership of other digital contents, like music clips for example. In reality, music NFTs have got quite a highlight in the past year, especially in the EDM space. This applies not only in international markets, but in local Indonesian market as well.

One particular music NFT project that has grabbed the attention of Indonesian Web3 community recently comes from a local artist, Binerica. For his debut album, Lima Dimensi, Binerica decided to provide a unique experience through the use of NFTs. While the full album is available to listen on Spotify, Lima Dimensi will also be offered as NFTs on the Tezos blockchain.

To experience Binerica NFT, collectors can visit its landing page where they can find 10 tracks represented as coordinates. When clicked, these coordinates will lead collectors to an Oncyber Gallery where the NFTs are being displayed. They can then listen to the full song while enjoying the artworks created by Binerica's collaborators. And if they want to collect, they can just click on the NFT and be redirected to the marketplace, which is objkt.com.

There are two types of NFTs included in the Binerica NFT project: Main NFTs and Celestial Object NFTs. Main NFTs are fully animated artworks created by artist Radhinal Indra that played along the related track in Lima Dimensi. In total, there will be 250 Main NFTs available to collect (25 unique NFTs for each track in the album). Interestingly, holders of these Main NFTs will also receive two special NFT drops after minting: an NFT track artwork and an NFT music sample in WAV format. This music sample is completely free for commercial use.

Meanwhile, Celestial Object NFTs are basically a collection of interpretation artwork by Binerica's collaborators. Each of these collaborators will create artworks for one song based on their own picks from the album. These will come in many formats (JPEG, PNG, GIF, 3D, MP4, etc.), and in total there will be around 50 NFTs available to collect.

According to the brain behind Binerica, Fadhli Faizal, the Binerica NFT project basically is an interpretation of the spirit of collaboration that Web3 brings to the table.
