After shockingly announced about its merger with OLX Indonesia, Berniaga officially made it public that its has used the OLX entity in running its businesses as per January 14, 2015.
As the merger has always been based on consumers’ convenience and satisfaction from the very beginning, all Berniaga’s consumers who have registered themselves through Facebook may login with the same account on OLX website. To those who didn’t use Facebook to sign in, OLX would send a default password to be used as an access to OLX website.
In its FAQ page, OLX provides a guide for all registered users to integrate their database into OLX’s latest infrastructure, which will start operating normally by the end of this month.
After the migration is completely done, Berniaga will use OLX’s website, platform, system, and database. Every single active ad at Berniaga which was posted after November 11, 2014 will be posted automatically at OLX only if they meet certain criteria. Meanwhile, other ads which were posted before the date will have to be re-posted. For the time being, users still may access existing entries at Berniaga.
