After adding plenty of local content a couple of months ago, AbraResto announced its latest feature called the “Virtual Tour” along with its plan to reach eight more main cities in Indonesia. In total, AbraResto has now had its database filled with information of restaurants located in ten major cities in the country.

“AbraResto now covers more areas in Indonesia. With these additional eight cities, we look to be much closer to Indonesian culinary lovers. This innovation and expansion will keep coming as we want to make AbraResto to be the most favourite social app for culinary seekers,” Ankur Mehrotra, AbraResto Indonesia’s CEO, stated in his press release that came to us today (1/12).

AbraResto is indeed widely known as one of restaurant discovery platforms which enjoy significant growth in Indonesia in relatively short period. After having a fruitful success in Jakarta and Bandung, the platform decided to expand to eight cities simultaneously. Its “Carrots” program apparently worked really well, as AbraResto got bombarded with tons of positive responses.

Due to the expansion, AbraResto now has more than 50.000 restaurants in Jakarta, Bandung, Bali, Lombok, Makassar, Malang, Medan, Semarang, Surabaya, and Yogyakarta listed on its database. Culinary lovers who want to get trustworthy restaurant information only need to access AbraResto both from their web and Android-web devices.

This latest expansion shows AbraResto’s strong commitment to keep updating people with complete and accurate culinary information. AbraResto’s pretty sure that by providing the best culinbary information, it can stand out from other competitors, particularly given the fact that Indonesian people become more and more accustomed to mobile first concept and social media.

Not only adding new restaurants into its database, AbraResto also allows users to have a look at the interior of selected restaurants via a new feature called “Virtual Tour”. It works on the same concept as the Google Maps Street, only it is specially designed for restaurants. One of available restaurants that has been compatible with the feature is Wilshire. The feature may be accessed both directly from AbraResto platform and via Google Maps.
