D~NET (PT Dutakom Wibawa Putra) team up with Express Wi-Fi by Facebook on Sunday (11/19) held a technology exhibition themed ID.Connect in Surabaya. The event’s main theme is “Hello Digital Inspiration” and expected to be an inspiration for young generation to develop more in technology. The exhibition is designed to facilitate startup community in sharing information regarding its products and services to target market and exchanging insights on the latest technology development, and meeting with investors.
“With Hello Digital Inspiration theme, D~NET invites every young generations to look at social issues distinctly and come up with a solution, making concept and building business idea through digital technology,” Caroline Gondokusumo, D~NET’s CEO & Founder, said.
This event consist of seminar, talkshow, exhibition and competition. Few speakers including Gaurav Girotra (Facebook’s Business Development Manager), Bastian Purrer (Lyke’s CEO), Wilson Yanaprasetya (Qerja’s CEO) and others are there. For the competition, it’s addressed for East Java startups.
There are 18 startups join this competition. As developer in building smart solution for city, Matakota wins the first place, Maulidan Games at the second place, and third place is taken by The Provit. Besides awarded by cash prizes, the winners also get special mentoring session with business figures such as; Caroline Gondokusumo, Ivan Kamadjadja, Septo Anggoro and many others.
“A purpose of this event is for D~NET to facilitate digital startup owners community in developing their entrepreneurship skill and meeting with investors. With this event, young generation are expected to take Indonesia into advance level,” Gondokusumo said.
