William Tunggaldjaja is leaving his position as Zomato’s Country Manager, as he’ll be the very first Path Indonesia’s Country Manager. This has been confirmed by Tunggaldjaja himself when he was being asked about his reason of leaving Zomato.

The search for a Country Manager indeed has been carried on by Path Indonesia at least for the past three months. The Country Manager will then be responsible to keep the positive growth of Path’s users in Indonesia, monetize, and establish MoUs with local PR agencies. Therefore, the candidate must really understand Indonesian market condition, have the experience in social/mobile/e-commerce, and possess the marketing and PR capability. After searching for months, Path finally appointed William Tunggaldjaja.

Indonesia is one of Path’s main market and they’re looking to monetize even further. Last month, it even partnered with Doku to enable users paying their Path Premium account via ATM and Alfa Group retail network.

Prior working at Zomato, Tunggaldjaja worked at Lazada. During his time in the U.S, he worked at Microsoft.

Good luck!
