In a couple of months we’ll be hosting our annual technology startup conference, SparxUp. After holding the previous conferences in Jakarta, as we announced back in June, we’ll be taking this year’s events to the land of sand, surf, sun. That’s right, we’re heading to Bali! This year’s SparxUp Awards and Conference will be held on 14-15 November, so pack your gear and don’t forget your sunblock.
As with past years, we will be highlighting and presenting awards to this year’s top technology startups in Indonesia and discussing the trends, progress, development, and issues affecting Indonesian entrepreneurship at the conference sessions.
At this point we have eleven speakers to headline the event, including Rocket Internet’s managing director for Southeast Asia Stefan Jung, Daniel Tumiwa, former country manager of Multiply who is now in charge of e-commerce at Garuda Indonesia, Mark Wang, director of Global Entrepreneurship Program Indonesia, Jayde Lovell, vice president of digital at Weber Shandwick, as well as CEOs of other Indonesian technology companies and startups.
Our venue for this year’s event will be at the beautiful Westin Hotels and Resorts in Nusa Dua and because the event will be on Thursday and Friday, you’ll have Saturday and Sunday to enjoy the rest of Bali.
We’d like to thank Infinys System as our platinum sponsor as well as Grupara Inc and Tiket.com as our silver sponsors. Sponsorship opportunities are still open, so if you wish to become a partner at this year’s SparxUp, or wish to become a speaker at the event, we encourage you to send an email to Rahmat Harlyadie ([email protected]).
As for participants, early bird tickets to the event is set at $350 and can be purchased from the SparxUp website thanks to our friends at Tiket.com. If you wish to submit your startup to the SparxUp Awards, fill out this form and sent it to us. Participation at the awards are open only to companies in the technology and internet business fields set up, founded, located, or incorporated in Indonesia since 2010.
