PT JC Indonesia, the company behind Diskon.com, recently releases its newest service called CHATcoid. It provides outsourcing customer service service for website owner in Indonesia. The service is claimed to be the first in Indonesia.
By using this service, website or e-commerce owner does not need to employ someone dedicated to customer care. CHATcoid will put a widget which gives 24 hours customer care service through chatting. Then, CHATcoid will report the char transcript to the website owner via email.
CHATcoid offers lower price than hiring a customer care officer. In addition, because CHATcoid handles all the installation as well as the supporting infrastructure, CHATcoid gives comfort and effectivity for website owner.
Before using CHATcoid’s service, websie owner will be asked to fill in a frequently asked question (FAQ). Other than the FAQ provided by CHATcoid, website owner can also add another question frequently asked by their customer. Customer care from CHATcoid will answer the customer’s question based on this FAQ. There are four service packages offered by CHATcoid, divided by chat quota given by this service.
For small and growing website owner, this service is worth the consideration. But if the problems faced by the customers are pretty complex, this service won’t fit the bill. Especially anything related to transaction data which owned by website owner and cannot be accessed by CHATcoid then the customers question won’t be able to be answered other than normatively.
