This kind of business works well, and now it is LintasBerita’s turn to collaborate with GantiBaju for similar program. The design theme is anything related to LintasBerita.com.
LintasBerita is a social bookmarking service which becomes one of the most visited websites in Indonesia. Here users can share contents by submitting links to LintasBerita. LintasBerita just did a makeover recently, turning into LintasBerita v2.
From their announcement in their official blog, the collaboration between GantiBaju and LintasBerita is taking “gila-gilaan setiap hari bersama LintasBerita.com” (let’s get crazy everyday with LintasBerita.com” as theme. Designers who’d like to participate can send their design based on keywords related to and using element ‘Gokil’ (Crazy), Fun, Creative, ‘Eksis’ (Exist), or Colorful.
The prize for this theme is interesting as well. The 1st prize is Wacom Intuos 4 PTK 440 + Gantibaju.com voucher of Rp 1.000.000,-. 2nd prize is Wacom Bamboo medium + Gantibaju.com voucher of Rp 500.000,- and the 3rd prize is Wacom Bamboo medium + Gantibaju.com voucher of Rp 250.000,-. Designer should submit their design until the latest March 21, 2011 at 23.59 WIB.
Not only for designers, GantiBaju also have giveaways for non-designer users to join the voting process and promote the design they vote, later on they will get shopping voucher from Krazy Market.
As Aria previously explained, GantiBaju is planning to run the sponsored theme program with brand owners regularly. It is a good strategy, considering the level of competition in online shirt design competition service.
GantiBaju also recently release some features to increase their users’ activities, like Badges and Live Ranking for designers. GantiBaju is also said that they will continue promoting their revenue model while preparing their anniversary.
Badge facility addition indicates various collaborations from GantiBaju. I am guessing that inter-brand collaboration process will also be available on game mechanic facility at GantiBaju. It is possible that non-designer winners will be chosen from number of badges they have.
